We started out the day going to Pine Level Church at 9 AM. Pine Level was once a town in De Soto county Florida but now (except for the very active church) is a ghost town. Pastor Brian’s sermon was the third in a five-part series on the book Heaven by Randy Alcorn. We found Pastor Brian to be part of the Walk to Emmaus movement after the service. (If you want to know more about Walk to Emmaus drop us a private email).
We then started to pack up for our trip to Little Willies RV Park. The pack up process takes about 45 minutes, the unload and setup process about 50 minutes and the drive about 14 minutes!
We are a little closer to the neighbors than we like.
Miss Peggy got into the homemaker mode will I was finalizing the setup and made a new cookie recipe.

As this WAS a new recipe, more than one sample was required by me for a proper judging. They Passed!!
We had a lunch of grilled Mahi-Mahi fish sandwich and left overs. For dinner Miss Peggy took the left over Sweet & Sour Meatballs (we like to let them simmer a few hours) from Friday night and made spaghetti out of them.
We went into town after dark to find the Olde Fudge Shoppe – but it isn’t there! We went past a produce stand we saw a week ago, they were open, so we went in.
Boy were we glad we did. Not only did they have fresh veggies and fruit, but a huge local meat selection. Wish we found them the first day. We walked out with bananas, peppers, onions, tomatoes, apples, pears, and 2 rib eye steaks (a real grill treat for us) for under $15.00! This is K & J Produce about 1/2 miles east across from Wal-mart.
We are still not emptying the waste tanks as we want to see how far they will go.
Tomorrow is a work/laundry day for Landyachty.
For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 1 John 3:11
Hi guys, Me thinks you folks eat a lot! Your description of all the food makes me hungry. I am getting ready to do a study of the book “Heaven” in Spanish. I have read it several times and purchased copies in Spanish for the study. We are using this opportunity to build relationships with our very Catholic friends and to be in the word at the same time. As we read the book we will use the authority of the bible to check the accuracy of the author.
In His Service, Richard and Carolyn…
We eat three times a day and then some – just look at my pictures. Alcorn uses the Word to make his points and sometimes might be putting his on twist on things. We love this book.
