We thought today was going to be a warmer version of yesterday, well warm was there with his brother rain!
AS expected we sleep in this morning after walking all day yesterday at Universal. I’m not saying we are getting older but maybe slower.
After lunch we went to shop and do a movie. I needed to go to Staples to get ink as there isn’t a Staples store in Lake City (our next stop). We found a farmers market (in the rain) and got tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, peppers, apples, and fresh strawberries – boy do those look nice! We went to Dollar Tree to look for the allusive blowup beach balls we have been searching for 4 weeks – hey this is Florida right. One of the sales associates volunteered to search the back room as this is a seasonal thing. He found the two we needed. If it works out this will go under the awning over our main slide out to keep the rain off the awning. Maybe tomorrow. We went to Home Depot to buy a little paint, wood, and of course Miss Peggy found laundry detergent.
We then went to the movie Kingsmenat the United Artists Wekiva Riverwalk 8 in Apopka. We are proud owners of a Regal Crown Club card that gives us some type of benefits – this is all new to us as we have only used small private cinemas the last few years. Movie was great, a little too much language, and the closing scene (who knows why) shows a naked gal from behind!
Between Rain drops I installed this small spring on our front screen door:
It doesn’t seem like much, but this spring will automatically close the screen door and with a little tweaking the latch locks perfectly. If there is a break in the rain tomorrow I will do the back door. You can get it here: RV Door Spring. Pretty easy to install.
Our big news is that we will be workamping this summer in Franklin, NC.
The pavilion where we will be hosting events for the guests.
Full hookups and nice landscaping everywhere.
This will be our home site for 8 1/2 months.
Our job is to keep it looking like this and keep the guests happy.
We plan to settle in tonight, search for a church on the internet and go to bed early.
“Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: ‘The days go by and every vision comes to nothing’? Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.’ Say to them, ‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.”
