Today was a rainy day with it clearing in the afternoon. We didn’t get our morning walks in, we didn’t get our afternoon walk in. We did eat brownies!! I did walk late in the day to the Ranger Station to pay the unmanned steel tube for 2 more nights. We are getting ready to go to the 2015 RV-Dream Boondocking Rally, and are excited to see Howard & Linda again. (We just saw them a few weeks ago in Knoxville). Some other friends will be there and we will make new friends.
Sunday we went to church at New Life Christian Fellowship in Lake City. It was super bowl Sunday and a lot of the people were wearing their team colors. Listened to a great sermon from Pastor Buddy. As our DirectTV isn’t set up for the local feeds we didn’t watch the super bowl. Hope your team was in the game!!
Our projects today were limited. I built the two drawers for the tall cabinet I am putting next to the bathroom sink.

I had to build 2 on these to pretty exact dimensions. The bottom is grooved for the plywood. (the glue excess hasn’t been removed yet)
Thank goodness for having a garage to work in on rainy days.
I also build a tube to hold the drain hose for the black and grey tanks. (If you don’t know – the black tank holds the water from the toilet and the grey tank (we have 2) holds kitchen and bathroom sink/shower water.) Boondocks doesn’t mean you dump in the woods. After trying to buy the materials from Home Depot, we ended up at Lowes. Mind you it is a 1 hour trip to either of these to get a nail!
It is 7 1/2′ long and I mounted it just behind the front landing legs on the fifth wheel.
I had picked up a old surveyors pole that telescopes and today I converted it into a flag pole.

While in Lake City we went to the Camping World as they had a surge protector on sale, and we installed it
We also installed a new battery in the ATV today – boy-o-boy electric start again!
We took in the movie American Sniper and highly recommend it as it is a true story on one of today’s modern heroes.
We expect colder rainy weather coming in Thursday so Peggy is making plans for us to bug out Wednesday morning and get closer to the upcoming Boondocking Rally.
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ. Colossians 2:2
